 Amsterdam, 4th May 2005 – ISSA and the Polish Cleaning Association (PSC) have today released first details of the content and speakers for their conference program at this year’s ISSA/INTERCLEAN Central & Eastern Europe 2005. The conference program is part of the international trade fair for the professional cleaning industry in Central & Eastern Europe, which is organised by Amsterdam RAI and ISSA in cooperation with the Polish Cleaning Association (PSC).
Offering an opportunity to find out about one of the most important regions in the cleaning industry over the next decade, the exhibition which takes place in the EXPO XXI Warsaw International Exhibition Centre, Poland from 30th June - 2nd July 2005 will give visitors a superb insight into many of the key issues and opportunities for this rapidly growing Central and Eastern European market.
The first day’s programme of the conference, which starts on July 1st, will deal with some of the most important issues in the cleaning industry, including hospital cleaning, health and safety issues, mold treatment and cleaning in the food servicing and food processing industry with presentations by leading spokespeople.
On the second day, starting at nine o’clock in the morning, exhibitors, distributors and major customers can participate in a seminar entitled, "How to do business in the cleaning industry in the emerging EU economies and the CIS countries". Involving acknowledged experts from Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, the Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia), Russia and the Ukraine, visitors will get the chance to learn about the bureaucracy of local business practices in their respective countries and solutions on how to get their products to market, reliably and successfully. The speakers will also draw on case study and testimonial examples to highlight logistical issues in each region.
Confirmed speakers for this seminar include Irene Palkova, Chairperson of the Czech Association, CAC and Vice Chair of the European Federation of Cleaning Industries, Tibor Ritz, CED Hungary, Yury Ryabichev, President of Russia's Cleaning Association, RCCA, Wladymir V. Fevralev, International Institute of Care to Buildings, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus, Sari Mattila, Farmos (Baltics) and Marek Kowalski, President of the Polish Cleaning Association. The ISSA and Polish Cleaning Association will provide a comprehensive, multi-lingual conference programme with simultaneous translations provided in English, Russian and Polish.
Bigger and better trade show
Commenting on the upcoming exhibition Mark Armitage, Director of European Services, ISSA said, “The last show in Poland two years ago exceeded all expectations, but with one hall already fully booked and a 50 percent increase in total exhibition space sold, this year’s exhibition promises to be even bigger and better.
